Pastoral Care Team

St. Paul’s have a Pastoral team consisting of eleven members of the congregation led by our assistant Curate Mother Ann. 

We are loving and approachable with the aim of bringing our Lord’s compassion and healing to anyone in need. 

Pastoral care visits consist of visiting those in need at home, in a care home, hospital or in Church. We make telephone calls if thought to be more appropriate than a face-to-face visit. 

We meet regularly where pastoral support is discussed, and visits/contact are arranged between the team. Some of our meetings are informal where we discuss confidential pastoral issues, others are more structured and include prayer and listening skills. 

The team share a WhatsApp group which is invaluable as it allows us to keep in touch and update each other on pastoral matters which enables us to be able to respond to issues as they arrive.
